- DEGREASING SOLVENTS FOR A3 MACHINES
- UNDER A VACUUM WITH RECYCLING
- A3 solvent degreasing machines were developed to respond to the toxicity problems encountered with chlorinated solvents classified as CMR (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic).
- In order to avoid any health risk for operators, they are closed. Under vacuum, they make it possible to lower the final distillation point by about 30%, and finally they allow the recycling of solvents, for degreasing with clean products.
- A3 solvents are classified into 3 families.
- Hydrocarbons are all classified as H 304 “Possibly fatal if swallowed and enters the respiratory tract”. Most of the time, they are additives to reinforce their solvent power, with glycol ethers (alcohols) which themselves are classified as H315 class 2 skin irritant, and H319 causes severe eye irritation.
- Modified alcohols which are not H 304, but remain H 315 and H 319.
- Fluorines but whose future is uncertain in accordance with the F. Gas directive. (EU Regulation 517/2014) on the environmental impact of fluorinated gases with global warming potential. This regulation should be further tightened with the “Ecocide” bill.
- To resolve the health risks associated with the first 2 families, users have available (often through rental) packaging designed so that there is no possible risk of contact.
- NEUTRALENE 1089 AM is part of the Modified Alcohols series, and has been designed to be:
- The first degreasing solvent without any hazard pictograms
- – Removal of safety overpacks
- – Reinforced solvent power, allowing hot but also cold use, broadening its use in conventional solvent-based degreasing fountains, in immersion tanks, with rotating or translational baskets, Ultrasonic tanks with piezoelectric or magneto-strictive generators,
- – High settling power of mineral oils by density differential.
- – Outdoor storage authorized, without retention, The retention obligation being subject to the labor code art R 4412, and to the ICPE code.
- FIELDS OF USE
- Cold or hot degreasing of all organic pollution, greases including solid lubricants, mineral or synthetic oils, machining fluids, cutting-stamping lubricants. RMO or MCO degreasing of all mechanical components.
- Degreasing in the food industry. NSF registered product, certified MOSH/POSH or MOAH free.
- PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
- NEUTRALENE 1089 AM is extremely powerful solvent developed for ultimate degreasing operations. Do not use on painted coated surfaces or plastic materials without a prior compatibility test.
- FLASH POINT VC ISO 2719 = 66 ° C
DISTILLATION RANGE ISO 3405 at atmospheric pressure = 182 ° C – 190 ° C
